What pain?
Is it just me or does Team Captain's "HILL" look more like a "FLAT" road! Steve, come back to the light that is Mountain Biking and ride some proper "HILLS" where gurning is compulsory.

Hill Climb Hog
Took 5th place in the annual Obricoaching RT Open Hill Climb event on Saturday and was highest placed Obri rider. Rode so hard my legs turned orange. Natch. Posted a time of 4min 36secs with winner a full 30secs ahead of me. He was like Pantani I tell ya!!

Commencal update # 2
I changed my mind and bought a Trek Remedy 7 instead, it comes with a lifetime warranty and has 6" of travel. Just back from it's maiden voyage & to say it soaked up my local trails like they weren't even there is an understatement! Bring on Jacobs Ladder later this month.

Veggie Biking?
Had a training course in Leicester ystrdy, took my bike and had a blast around the lanes of Leicestershire afterwards: Newtown Linford, Beacon Hill, Quorn, Mountsorrell, Anstey...nice.

I'm still in Purgatory unfortunately but I've just contacted Tomac direct, fingers crossed they'll get me back in the saddle because buying a new frame/bike with a baby on the way isn't an option. Grrrrrrrr

Look what I found!
It was warm and sunny yesterday. I ventured into my shed and found a peculiar two-wheeled contraption. Some say it is called a bikecycle. Anyway, I got on it, I rode it, I enjoyed it. I have found my love of biking again.

Another win for me in the Courses des Primes event last night at Manchester Velodrome. Hoovered up all the points then lapped most of the field just to rub their noses in it. RsPkT. Could hardly walk afterwards mind you...

Dunno what 'Bread is on about. Spent the weekend looking out the window (while churning out out 500W on the turbo trainer of course,,,). 'Work issues' meant I missed my flight on Friday. No Ballaericbear for me. Gutted.
